Breaking News: Former Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal Dies

Amritsar, Punjab: Former Chief Minister of Punjab and popular Sikh leader Parkash Singh Badal has passed away. He was 95.

Badal was Akali Dal patriarch. According to reports in Punjab media, the Akali leader breathed his last on Tuesday at a private hospital in Mohali.

Personal Assistant of his son and party president Sukhbir Singh Badal confirmed the news.

“Mr Badal passed away at around 8 pm,” hospital Director Abhijeet Singh was quoted saying by news gathering agencies.
