Budgam,18, July: Jammu and Kashmir police arrested four militant associates of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist organization in Budgam district. The arrests were made in the Beerwah area of the district, along with the Army (62 RR).
The arrested individuals have been identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, Azhar Ahmad Mir, Irfan Ahmad Sofi, and Abrar Ahmad Malik. They are all residents of Budgam district.
“The police said that incriminating materials were recovered from the possession of the arrested individuals, including arms, ammunition, and LeT-related literature. The police have registered a case under relevant sections of law and are continuing their investigation.” Reads Police Statement.
