Several parts in Noida to suffer due to Rains
New Delhi, July 26: If you thought the vagaries of weather are over, think again. India’s Meteorological Department on Wednesday issued an orange alert, raising concerns that heavy rains could lash large parts of Noida.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) while issuing an orange alert warned that the weather in Delhi could potentially worsen.
There are possible scenarios that could cause disruptions and threats to life and property. In the last week too, major parts of Delhi received moderate to heavy rainfall to cause flooding in several low lying areas.
Meanwhile, incessant rains in the states of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh are threatening to increase the water levels in Yamuna. Floodwaters have caused massive damage in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and parts of Delhi, Gujarat and Maharashtra.
