Pak opener Abdullah Shafique averages nearly 50 in Tests
Colombo, July 26: After the rain gods played spoil sport on Day of the ongoing Test match in Colombo, Pakistani batters Abdullah Shafique and skipper Babar Azam made a confident start on Day 3 as Shafique got to his fourth hundred in the red-ball format in style.
Abdullah Shafique was unbeaten on 87* on Tuesday while Babar Azam on 28*, as Pakistan had managed a slender lead of 12 runs over Sri Lanka after getting hosts all out cheaply for 166.
Currently, on Day 3, Pakistan are leading by 30 runs with eight wickets in hand.
