London, August 6: Charismatic England cricketer Alex Hales has called it quits across three formats of international cricket. He represented his country for a period spanning 12 years.

Hales played 11 Tests, 70 ODIs and 75 T20Is for England. He made six centuries in the ODIs and one in T20Is.


Hales debuted against India in a T20I in August 2011. Known for his aggressive style of batsmanship, Hales found his real mojo in the T20 format. His highest scores in ODIs is 171 and 116* in T20Is.
