Gandhi Reinstated After Supreme Court’s Decision
New Delhi, August 07: The Gandhi Scion Rahul Gandhi on Monday entered the Indian Parliament after Supreme Court of India suspended his conviction.
The Congress party leader was disqualified as Member of Indian Parliament in March this year after he was sentenced to two years in jail by a court in Gujarat.
Two days earlier, the Supreme Court in a landmark decision suspended Rahul Gandhi’s conviction.
Congress leaders celebrated their leader’s return by raising slogans and distributing sweets outside parliament.
