BJP Women MPs in a Letter See Rahul’s Gesture As ‘Sexist’

New Delhi, August 09: At least 21 women Member Parliament (MPs) linked to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday shot a letter to the Speaker, condemning Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s ‘flying kiss’ inside the Lok Sabha.

The BJP female MPs complained that Rahul Gandhi’s ‘flying kiss’ in the House “insulted” the “dignity of women”.

Earlier, Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, drawing his parallels with Ravana, saying like Ravana used to listen to only two of his close aides, Modi too “only listens to Amit Shah and Adani.”

Meanwhile, the women BJP MPs said in their complaint that Gandhi’s gesture was “inappropriate behaviour.” They demanded action against Gandhi while urging the Speaker to examine the footage from the CCTV camera of the ‘flying kiss’!

Gandhi casually while leaving the House said goodbye with a flying kiss.
