The 2023 cricket World Cup commences in India this October
Melbourne, August 12: The 2023 World Cup is due to be played this October in India and the former Australian pacer Glenn McGrath has picked top four teams as semifinalists.

In McGrath’s appreciation, hosts India, Australia, Pakistan and England are in top form in the ODI format and all of them can confirm their berths in the semifinals.
As cricket enthusiasts gear up for the much-awaited coveted event, McGrath believes that England are playing cricket in an aggressive fashion while Pakistan has a very balanced side to trouble any top team.
Three-time World Cup winner and the leading wicket-taker in the history of the mega tournament, McGrath, believes Pakistan, India, England and Australia will shine in the marquee event.
“You wouldn’t be surprised that I’m putting Australia in that four. Obviously, India is playing in their own conditions. England is playing some great cricket, and Pakistan is also playing fine. So, they are the best four,” McGrath said this in an interview with an Indian newspaper.
