Pakistan leading Group A, Sri Lanka Group B
Lahore, 06 September: After a heartbreaking defeat by two runs for Afghanistan in Lahore while playing against Sri Lanka, four teams have qualified for the Super4 stage as Nepal and Afghanistan are expectedly out of the competition.
Afghanistan lost both their matches, one each against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The story of Nepal was no different as the minnows lost their games against Pakistan and India.
From Group A, Pakistan and India qualified as the former topped the group. Sri Lanka and Bangladesh qualified for the next stage from Group B.
In Super Four, Pakistan are playing against Bangladesh in Lahore while Sri Lanka will play against Bangladesh on Saturday, 9 September, in Colombo.
The much-awaited game between Pakistan and India will be played in Colombo on 10 September, Sunday.
However, there are some concerns regarding the weather conditions in Sri Lanka.
